Myreya Ameczua

Myreya founded Holy Yoga Detroit as a non-profit entity in 2014.  It was a commitment she made to God, to proclaim his name and goodness, to use her talents and skills for his glory, so that others could experience the strengthening and abiding peace he had given her.  Since then, God has assembled a diverse team of teachers and Board of Directors dedicated to this mission.  She is humbled to serve the community and lead the Holy Yoga Detroit team, advancing freedom and peace in Christ, one class at at a time.

Christine McGill

Christine teaches specialized Holy Yoga classes for homeless mothers at Abigayle Ministries.  As a Master level instructor, Christine is super-equipped to serve many different specialty populations because of her training in Kids, Plus and Trauma Sensitive Yoga, Revelation Wellness, Nutrition, and Holy Yoga Touch.  She also instructs Holy Yoga classes through her own company, Touch Temple Training at American Lutheran Church in Clinton Twp., Fridays, 6-7pm.

Tammy Tocco

Tammy began teaching in 2011, following her completion at Yaweh Yoga; a memorable and restorative chapter in her life. She believes that when there is a peace that resides within yourself, you are then able to practice that peace with others. That peace is from Christ and it is a sustaining peace. Tammy has done various workshops, in addition to the apprenticeship program and Citizens Yoga. She has found it rewarding to see her class overcome obstacles, both physically and mentally. “There is a beauty that lies between the parallel aspects of life and yoga - it is a practice.” she says. As an instructor, Tammy gets to encourage people to deepen their awareness of God’s presence and peace.
