Tammy Notoriano - Vice-Chair of the Board, RYT, M-HYI Tammy began practicing Christian yoga in 2016 where God began speaking to her and healing her on her mat. She heard of Holy Yoga from a close friend, and applied for a scholarship to go through instructor training after practicing yoga for only 6 months. She heard God tell her that He would heal, equip, and guide her, and she intended to go through instructor training for her own healing from trauma rather than to teach. After becoming certified, God told Tammy to give up her cleaning business, trust Him in her finances and help grow Holy Yoga Detroit. Two years and half years later, Tammy is serving as the Vice President of Holy Yoga Detroit and teaches many of Holy Yoga Detroit’s specialty classes including chair yoga, trauma sensitive yoga, kids yoga, Holy Yoga for grief, and many more.
