Mission Statement

Holy Yoga Detroit is a 501c3 non-profit organization impassioned to bring health and wholeness to the people of Metro Detroit, especially the most underserved communities amongst us, through the modality of fitness classes and God’s transformative Word.

What is Holy Yoga?

Holy yoga is a modern, sacred discipline involving the body, mind, and soul for the purposes of connecting to God and getting healthy. We move and breathe as we focus our attention on God’s Word. Uplifting music may be played throughout. At Holy Yoga Detroit, all of our teachers have experienced the power and love of God that has transformed their lives in positive ways; big and small. We believe that God has called us to share His empowering message so that more people will experience health to all: Come. We invite all and strive to accommodate all levels and bodies by offering specialty classes - such as Chair Yoga and Kids Classes.

While Yoga is scientifically proven to benefit the body and mind, our Living God provides lasting joy for our spirits.
